Red Ribbon express in Bangalore on July 23

Bangalore: "Red Ribbon Express" an exhibition on wheels to create awarness on the HIV/AIDS disease will arrive into the city on July 23.

The organisers during the three-day campaign here will educate public on how to prevent HIV/AIDS, besides organising a workshop to those affected and a health check-up camp, Bangalore Urban District Deputy Commissioner M A Sadiq said in a release here today.

A 48-members professional stage troupe travelling by the train will stage street plays to create awareness on the diseases in 48 locations in the city.

The Red Ribbon Express will chug towards Mysore on July 25 and visit Hassan, Sakaleshpur, Arasikere, Birur, Shimoga, Chikkajajaur, Hospet, Hubli and Dharwad.

The train will leave for Goa on August 14.
