Mithun endorses son Mimoh

Mithun Chakraborty who used to claim that he will not promote son Mimoh in films, is apparently conscious about Mimoh’s

debut. Raj Sippy’s Jimmy is releasing and Mithun who hardly used to accompany his son on events, is making more public

appearances.

It is believed that Mithun saw Jimmy and suggested some changes to the filmmaker Raj Sippy. A unit hand says “Mithun didn’t

like some scenes and he suggested some changes. According to that filmmaker had to re-shoot those scenes, which is why the

film got delayed. Mithun gave some important inputs to director Raj Sippy who is a close friend of his.”

Mithun has always made statements regarding his son that Mimoh has to prove himself. Apparently Mithun who has always

appeared as a strict father has realized that a right film or right start is important for Mimoh’s career. Thus he is

concerned about his son’s debut film and is making conscious efforts to launch Mimoh properly.

Interestingly Mithun’s film Don Muthuswami is releasing close to the release of Mimoh’s Jimmy. Isn’t Mithun worried that he

might eat out to his son’s film’s business? When asked he replies, “As a father I am worried about him, whether his film

releases with me or with anybody else. Otherwise, it doesn't worry me a bit because he is a strong person and we both are

good. Then we have a very wide audience.”

Needless to say that being a star son Mimoh will be compared with his father. It is believed that Mithun has given Mimoh some

important tips regarding dancing and acting. Ask him who’s a better dancer and Mithun is quick to revert, “Mimoh will beat me

hollow in dancing today. He is 25% better than me but in acting he will take another 6-7 years to catch up with me. He has to

prove his own worth and compete like anybody else. Then he also has to respect everybody in the industry and not look down at

anyone at all. That will help him to grow faster as an actor and as a person too”.

Now only time can say whether Mimoh will prove himself as a good dancer and talented actor like his father or create his own

identity in Bollywood.
