Jimmy Kimmel: Breaks 5-year old romanceMost popular American comedian, writer, talk show host, game show host and producer Jimmy Kimmel has broken off his 5 year romance with American comedian, writer, singer, guitarist and actress Sarah Silverman. Publicists for both confirmed the news on Monday.
The 40 year old Jimmy Kimmel hosts the late-night ABC television talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and the 37 year old Sarah Silverman hosts her own comedy show "The Sarah Silverman Program" on the cable TV network Comedy Central.
The pair dated for five years and were one of Hollywood's funniest and seemingly solid couples.
Kimmel separated from his wife Gina in 2002, and Silverman said that she will not get married until gay marriage is legalized.
Earlier this year, Silverman performed a duet with actor Matt Damon singing about their fake love affair on Jimmy Kimmel's ABC late-night show. Kimmel later responded with a star-studded video declaring a romance with Damon's best friend, Ben Affleck.
Silverman has made frequent appearances on Jimmy Kimmel's talk show.
